Birman Studs

Our boys are much loved members of the family. They live in their own private heated quarters and spend a lot of time indoors with us, as they are first and foremost our pets. Our main pleasure is showing them and they have done extremely well. Both boys are at limited stud and are available to suitable tested queens. Our current Birman studs are:

UK Imperial Grand Champion
Kindred Tisanti Stargazer (SBI c) (2 UK Grand)
The Birman Cat Club’s Overall Top Birman 2013!

LouieThis is our new boy Louie, who we hope will take over from our lovely Mister Darcy next year. Louie was bred by our son Matthew under his new prefix of Kindred. Louie was the only male in the litter and he had 4 lilac tortie sisters who were really beautiful babies. We noticed right from the start that we had something special as Louie was a very big kitten and even though we could not see his markings what we could see we liked!

LouieAt 9 weeks of age Matt gave me Louie to “run on” so we could watch his development and it also gave us an opportunity to start showing Louie. By now he was growing daily and his markings all looked good.

At his first show he won his Open and then Best of Breed and several judges commented that he certainly was a promising baby. Louie has a fantastic temperament which is so important to a future stud boy. He loves to be with Nutella our new Spanish baby and together they sure do get upto a lot of mischief. He also loves to play chase with our Chihuahua Ivy and to see them both sleeping together in Ivy’s basket is really adorable!

He did us proud when he was made up to Champion at the Bristol & District Show. Louie achieved his Champion status in 3 straight shows and all at the tender age of 9 and half months!

Stargazer

Imperial Grand Champion Kindred Tisanti Stargazer winning Best Semi Longhair Adult at the Supreme 2013

He became a Grand Champion and won his 3rd Grand on Saturday 6th July 2013,┬ájust before his 1st Birthday! We’ve been told that he’s the youngest Birman to win Grand Champion status in Birman Records! Such a wonderful achievement for a very special boy. We were all so proud. Well done Louie!

At the 2013 Supreme Show, at the NEC Birmingham, Louie won his 5th Imperial award and was officially declared an Imperial Grand Champion! We have also had it confirmed that to date he is the youngest IGRCH in Birman records, what a wonderful achievement for a 16 month old boy!

Sue and StargazerHe then went onto win Best of Breed and to crown the day off he went Best of Variety Semi Longhaired Adult at the Supreme! What an accolade for our boy as he beat all other Semi Longhaired Adult breeds!

2013 was absolutely amazing for Louie as he also sired his first litter and had 4 beautiful babies with our delightful Nutella. To top it all off he then won Top Birman 2013! We always knew he had that “something special”, but never in our wildest dreams did we think he would go this far!

He was recently featured in ‘Your Cat’ Magazine for his record breaking streak! You can see the article here.

Louie has already sired some beautiful kittens for us! We are delighted with their size and type. Photos of his babies will shortly be on our kitten page.

We are also delighted to announce that our wonderful boy is now a UK Imperial Grand Champion! Louie won his first UK at the Supreme in 2014 and his second UK at this year’s Supreme 2015. Well done boy!

Imperial Grand Champion LaLola Mr. Darcy
Lilac Tabby Point (SBI c 21)

Mister Darcy

This is our beautiful Lilac Tabby boy Lalola Mister Darcy. He is a huge boy and has the most stunning blue eyes and a really gentle expression. Mister Darcy started his show career really well winning lots of kitten classes and getting 2 Best of Varieties. He made Champion in 3 straight shows and was a Grand Champion at under 16 months. Mister Darcy has sired beautiful type Birman kittens with lovely temperaments, his daughters Ch Tisanti Betsy Buttons and Ch Tisanti Miley being just two of them.

2011 was a good year too for Darcy as we had some stunning kittens from him, with 2 made up to Premiers and working towards the Grand Titles!

After winning Imperials, and several Reserve Imperials, in 2012 we decided that we’d stop taking Mister Darcy out for a while. He’d had enough of showing and wanted to stay at home, so that was that! Mister Darcy sired lovely kittens during 2012 with 2 being shown on the show bench. Well done boy!

Grand Champion Mister Darcy became an Imperial on 2nd August 2014! This is a wonderful achievement for this boy. He really doesn’t like the early mornings or the vetting in, so winning this high award has taken some time (due to many months of being off the show bench).

We always knew he was worthy of this high award and hoped that one day he would gain this title. To win this today has really fulfilled our dreams. Well done, our lovely boy!

Llonydd Tisanti Fy Arwr
Blue Tabby Point (SBI a 21)

TeddyWe were delighted when Teddy came to join us in 2015 as he is such a lovely boy with the sweetest of temperaments, which is so important for future studs.

Teddy was bred by Gareth & Glenys Stone, who have mostly Tisanti lines in their pedigree, which means he can go to a lot of our girls.

Now that Teddy has become an adult we will be taking him out onto the show bench where we hope he will do well.

Teddy

We also hope that by the Spring Teddy will of sired his first litter, so please do watch this space!
